“How Many Countries have you been to?”
I’ve never loved the “country count” metric because it feels transactional and superficial.
I can tell you more stories and the culture, people, food, etc about Brazil (~10 months — 2020-2022) than the Czech Republic (3 days in Prague — 2015).
But both count as 1 each.
I’m at 50, but I can really only tell you fascinating things about 20 of them without scrolling through my photos.
I’ve slowed down the “fast traveling” since the late-2010’s and started taking more of my time in a single location. I went to Italy Part 2 and spent a month in Milan and did intermittent trips through the North.
“Slow Traveling” - But Where?
Call me crazy. But I have this vision of being in Asia while working US hours.
If I’m open minded to that, this opens doors for me to travel to places like Nepal, Pakistan, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia.
Is this foreshadowing?? 👀
In General - What’s on my List?
Caribbean - Puerto Rico, El Salvador, Nicaragua, The Bahamas, Cayman Islands
Europe - Norway, Sweden, Albania, Romania
Africa - Senegal, Namibia, Kenya, Tanzania part 2, Rwanda
South America - what else is left jk definitely Uruguay and Paraguay
Asia - too many to list so I’ll start with the list I had above
Middle East - Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Kuwait, Bahrain
Let me know if you have any of these places on your wishlist. I’d love to hear from you!
